1. Single Purpose & Data Ethics

AuraTrade AI is dedicated to providing real-time financial market analytics, technical indicators, and educational paper trading simulations. We strictly enforce privacy-by-design principles across all features.

2. No Real Brokerage Credentials or Financial Transactions

AuraTrade AI is a simulated paper trading and analytics environment. We do not connect to real brokerages (e.g., Interactive Brokers, Robinhood, Trade Republic), banks, or real cryptocurrency wallets. We never request, access, or store brokerage passwords, PINs, or financial payment credentials.

3. Local & Synced Storage Usage (chrome.storage)

Your watchlists, simulated portfolio positions, and alert rules are stored directly in your local Google Chrome storage (chrome.storage.sync). This data is synchronized securely through your private Google profile across your personal machines and is never sent to third-party data brokers.

4. AI Processing with Google Gemini

When you query the AuraTrade Copilot AI or run the Portfolio Doctor, financial queries are processed via Google's official Gemini 2.5 Flash API. No personal identifiers are transmitted, and requests are not used to train external models.

5. Chrome Extension Permissions Justification

• sidePanel: Displays the workspace in the browser's side panel alongside your regular tabs.
• storage: Saves your virtual positions and watchlist preferences.
• alarms: Periodically evaluates price thresholds for alerts.
• contextMenus: Enables the right-click shortcut to quickly analyze any highlighted financial ticker.
